One of our CLEXM PHD students, Fariha Mahzabin Annesha attended the conference “Pathogens: New Insights into Imaging Techniques” organised within the CLEXM MSCA program, and hosted by one of our partners, Heidelberg University. Fariha reports on her experience at the conference.
On the first day of the “Pathogens: New Insights from Imaging Techniques” conference, we delved into how advanced imaging and microscopy enhance our understanding of pathogens.
Highlights included Dr. Vivek Thacker discussing Mycobacterium tuberculosis cords in pathology and therapy, Dr. Dimitri Scholz presenting CELS-3D, an innovative light source for 3D microtome-based microscopy, and Dr. Arina Rybina outlining Euro-BioImaging ERIC’s infrastructure and open access to imaging expertise. Additionally, Visa Ruokolainen explored chromatin mobility during herpesvirus infection and any more interesting talks from experts all around Europe!
Excited for day two!
